Bolero Collies

At Bolero we strive to produce graceful, elegant collies with the sweet temperament for which the Breed is known and loved. Collies have been our family's passion for over 20 years. And in that time we have seen our line mature into the lovely rough and smooth collies that can be seen in our Kennel today. We are a smaller Kennel located in Batavia, Illinois (about 40 minutes northwest of Chicago) with a Grooming and Daycare facility in South Elgin.

Pictured to the right is our foundation bitch Ch. Chatham's Sparkling Highlights. "Sparkle" came to us at the age of 8 weeks and gave us 12 wonderful years. This picture was taken only hours after whelping her first litter. It was a very special litter that earned a first place in the brood bitch class at our first CCA National Specialty in 2000 and is the very foundation of our line today.
